Nick and Gloria Cuban were unhappy with their front door. It was clear that the weather was taking a toll, despite their storm doors in place. There were cracks in the front door, and the weather stripping was wearing out, causing frequent drafts.
In addition to the structural concerns, Gloria noted, “We noticed that the sun would bleach those doors in the summertime.” The bottoms of the doors were discolored, while the top sections remained dark. This meant that they no longer had the vibrant appearance and elegant style that the Cubans longed for.
