Lori K Bath is a home remodeling company built on family values. We were founded on June 4th, 2018, by Ron Knoche and Dan O’Callaghan. To uphold our standards, we NEVER use subcontractors. Every remodel is completed by our local team, who is dedicated to finding the best solutions for your home. We work alongside you to design your new bathroom. Then, our installation team works diligently to complete a timely and effective home remodeling service.

In December 2017, Lori Knoche was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, and her husband, Ron Knoche, chose to name the company Lori K Bath in her honor as she began her courageous fight. Lori, a former Respiratory Therapist in the hospital’s respiratory care unit, was a devoted mother to two boys, Blake and Joe, and was well known in her community for her free spirit and the smile she brought to those around her. Raised in LaCrosse and then residing in Valparaiso with Ron and their sons, she showed remarkable strength and resilience in the face of her diagnosis, continuing to fight and win for many years. Her spirit inspired everyone who knew her, and the Lori K Bath team is proud to carry a name that reflects her courage, warmth, and the meaningful legacy she and Ron have created together.
Ron Knoche and Dan O’Callaghan first met through business in 2015, quickly recognizing the potential of working together thanks to their shared passion for delivering exceptional products and service. Though they came from different sides of the business spectrum, they often discussed their ventures and realized they could create something truly special for their friends and communities.
By 2018, Ron reached out to Dan with the idea of partnering on a new venture-Lori K Bath-and Dan immediately agreed. Their combined strengths helped the company quickly rise to become the #1 rated bathroom remodeling company online in its first year, a distinction it continues to hold.
With exclusive access to Jacuzzi and Bathwraps bath systems and installation performed by factory-trained professionals, the company reflects Ron and Dan’s commitment to putting the customer experience first. The two founders are proud of their accomplishments and look forward to further growing the Lori K Bath name and expanding their reach.
“On February 15th, 2026, heaven gained a warrior angel after an 8-year battle with Rectal Mucosal Melanoma. Her name was Lori Knoche. Lori touched so many lives with her larger-than-life personality. She was a true inspiration to so many who knew her and the courageous battle she fought. Lori was a beloved wife and mother of two sons. Lori was my inspiration for starting the Lori K Bath remodeling business. After we learned of her diagnosis, I felt compelled to do anything and everything in my power to take care of her. So in 2018, myself and a partner founded Lori K Bath LLC. Today, we are one of the largest bath remodeling companies in the state of Indiana. Her name and beautiful spirit will be honored for as long as I’m on this earth and hopefully much longer after.
Lori was the definition of a caretaker; she spent 32 years working as a licensed respiratory therapist. She brought unlimited amounts of joy to her patients and made meaningful friendships with them. Her beautiful smile would light up a room when she walked in. Lori had the ability to make you feel like you were the most important person in the moment.
I understand all too well all of the inconveniences, pain, traveling to and from hospitals, the scans, testing, poking, hours of waiting to see doctors, the anxiety of waiting for scan results, the tears, the depression that comes with cancer, and my heart goes out to all of you patients and caretakers.
So with all that, our mission at Lori K Cares is to bring a little kindness and convenience to people battling cancer by helping to convert their tub/shower to a walk-in shower. This is to help create a safe place for people struggling with this disease. As people go through chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy, it can be very difficult and dangerous to step over the bathtub rail. We plan on helping one person twice a year with a brand-new walk-in shower once in June and once in December.”

Ron has been working in the home remodeling business for over 30 years, bringing exceptional service, lasting solutions, and premium products to homeowners throughout NWI. He started simply as part of an installation team and has grown to run his own remodeling companies here in the Region. As a crew member who has worked in every position from simple installation and sales to higher management and ownership, Ron excels in delivering impeccable results. He lives with his family in Valparaiso and is happy to be an integral part of his local Northwest Indiana community.
Dan has been a successful entrepreneur since 1999, owning many of his own businesses, including marketing agencies and home remodeling companies. He found his true passion with Lori K Bath, where he loves seeing the transformations we provide to our clients every day. Dan has two daughters and lives in St. John, where he enjoys being a community man and chasing the American Dream. Year after year, Dan is proud of the reputation that the Lori K Bath team has built. He hopes to continue expanding our reach, changing the home remodeling industry nationwide.
As we have grown our team over the years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to quality. Each team member of the Lori K Bath family makes a commitment to honor our community with customer-centric home remodeling services. From our sales team to our installation crew, we put our customers first.
We have found our home in downtown Valpo, where our main office is situated. We have expanded to include several showrooms in Northwest Indiana, including in the Valparaiso Meijer and the Schererville Walmart. We look forward to continued growth as we build our company and expand outward from here.

Each bathroom is custom made to the highest quality standard by our incredible manufacturers. Each one manufactured individually for your home. They are made at our factory right here in the Midwest to produce a perfect fit and finish, each and every time.
