Customer Need

The Plys family had an awkward layout in their master bathroom that simply wasn’t working for them. Their space featured a small walk-in shower and a large bathtub that rarely saw any use. They even said that they had only taken four baths in twenty-two years! Over time, the tub became more of a storage shelf than a place to relax. Looking for better functionality, more storage, and a fresh new look, they turned to Lori K Bath.

Project Summary

The Taylor family were ready to say goodbye to their outdated bathroom. Their large jacuzzi tub was no longer being used, and the old tiled shower nook made the space feel dated and closed in. They wanted a complete transformation that would give them a more modern and relaxing bathroom.

This project was a bathroom update for the Taylor family, they wanted a fresh bathroom space. Lori K Bath handled the bathroom remodeling services for this remodel, and worked to create a new bathroom. It worked well and looked good! The goal was to match the Taylor family’s design wishes.

Our Solution


After meeting with their Design Consultant, Joe, the Plys family completely reimagined their space. To make better use of the bathroom’s footprint, the unused tub was removed and the entire layout was redesigned. The project included a brand-new walk-in shower, updated flooring, fresh paint, and a refreshed vanity. Creating a top-to-bottom transformation that maximized their space.

The Result

That unused bathtub turned/storage-shelf? Gone. In its place is a massive Arctic Ice walk-in shower that serves as the stunning centerpiece of the room. The old cramped shower was removed completely and replaced with the additional storage space the family had been wanting for years. Their new bathroom is a bright and modern space that finally works for the way they live.
